Upon completing each calculation cycle our methodology provides a ranked list of males best suited for insemination with each female on the farm, enabling the greatest increase in the genetic potential of the offspring.

EBV calculation
We use the ssGBLUP method to calculate estimated breeding values. This approach allows us to obtain valid data on both genetically analyzed animals and those related to them through pedigree information. As a result, it significantly improves the accuracy of the estimates without the need to genotype the entire population.

We not only utilize genotyping data from DNA chips but have also developed a methodology that enables the effective use of low-coverage sequencing data for calculating breeding value estimates. This approach also allows us to calculate EBVs with accuracy surpassing that achieved using genotyping data from DNA chips.

We have created a methodology based on the animal’s economic value and production conditions, allowing for the balancing of trait coefficients across different groups within the index by incorporating complex calculated traits, implementing optimization algorithms, and applying machine learning methods.

The developed index evaluation methodologies take into account more than a dozen complex animal traits, maintaining the influence of each trait on overall index assessment and ensuring stable and long-term breeding progress.
